Una sorpresa muy agradable. Las construcciones en sí una maravilla, con un precioso jardín, y cuando entras sigues sorprendiéndome más aún. La habitación luminosa, amplia y las camas muy confortables con unos juegos de sábanas muy coquetos. El baño muy amplio y la decoración a cordero con todo el conjunto. Los desayunos muy elaborados, ricos y súper variados. Destacar el personal, todos super competentes y amables, concretamente María José, muy involucrada y volcada en todo. El restaurante que está rn el puerto muy recomendable también, buena materia prima y elaboración. Destacar a Pepe, nos ha sacado unas cuantas sonrisas, incluso carcajadas. Nos quedamos con ganas de volver. Gracias
A magical hotel built in 1902 by an Indianos. (See 2005 NY Times article on this hotel, "In Old Asturias. a Legacy from the New World"--but note the hotel now has an elevator!) Pedro told me that the estate, which occupies a plateau atop a high hill overlooking the bay and ocean, used to be filled with trees. Last night we had rich mid-day sun until sunset, an effect heightened by the rich yellow of our room. Great bed, bathroom in a spacious room with a roomy balcony. Even a large tapestry hanging on the wall facing the bed. I'm not sure they'd hosted cyclists, but Pedro quickly found a secure inside space for them. Staff, which is plentiful relative to guests, are exceptionally eager to help with everything! Not the least expensive place that we've stayed on our North Camino ride, but arguably the best value!
Hotelito encantador, y tranquilo, justo detrás del puerto deportivo de Figueras. Personal encantador, fácil llegar e irse desde la Autovía. Recomendable! Lo malo es el precio en temporada alta, y el nivel de ocupación, po lo demás, excelente!
Hotel con muchísimo encanto: dos edificios singulares indiano-modernistas. Desayuno servido en un salón-comedor-galería precioso, adornado con música de piano. Habitación muy bonita, con magníficas vistas a la ría y a Castropol. Cama muy cómoda. Estancia de 6 días, en el que cada día que pasaba, descubría nuevos detalles y disfrutaba más aún de la estancia. TODO EL PERSONAL EXCEPCIONAL, especialmente Maria José y Lina. Desayuno abundante, de calidad, casero 100%, y muy variado. Figueras es un pueblecito bonito y muy tranquilo, con gente muy abierta y acogedora. Desde el hotel se puede ir andando a la playa de Arnau y de Peñarronda
Nuestra estancia en el hotel ha sido estupenda. María José nos trató fenomenal, muy pendiente de todos los detalles y un trato muy cercano. El desayuno es muy completo, con varias elaboraciones caseras que están riquísimas. La ubicación es muy tranquila, en dos palacetes indianos preciosos. Enhorabuena a todo el equipo, ¡volvernos!
